2000 IAMS/Eukanuba All-Age Brittany of the Year Award
Poki Dot
This year's winner of the Brittany IAMS Eukanuba award was Poki Dot, a 6 year old female out of Wee Dee by Microdot. Owned by the Floyds and handled by Lyle Johnson, she won the Texas Open, the U.S. Open, the Chicken Classic and placed in the Nebraska Championship to garner the award.
As a youngster she won the Central Futurity and the Dual Award. In her career she has 20 All-Age firsts and is a 4x American Field Champion.
Once again the IAMS Eukanuba Award was presented by Roy Pelton in the Blue Mountain Clubhouse during the running of the Brittany Nationals. Ross Young was again on hand to present a painting of Gamblers Ace In The Hole to the Janulis', owners of last year's winner.
This year there were 37 one hour stakes included in the point totals with a total of 118 placements (7 were Amateur stakes with a total of 17 placements).
